Update the Sky Warden add-on
The add-on normally keeps itself up to date with updates signed by Sky Warden. If it can't, or the app asks you to reinstall it, this takes about two minutes. Your device keeps its history and stats.
Steps
- In the Sky Warden app, tap My Devices, then your AirSquitter.
- Scroll down and tap Reinstall add-on. Don't remove the device to update it: Reinstall keeps everything.
- Tap Save installer and choose Save to Files. To install from a computer, save it to iCloud Drive or AirDrop it instead.
- Tap Open under step 2 and log in with your Air!Squitter password. (On older app versions: open your AirSquitter's page, then Settings → Software Maintenance.)
- Open Manual File Upload. Under Upload and Install Package, choose the newest skywarden-feeder file and tap Upload+Install.
- When it finishes, look for Sky Warden add-on with the new version, Test upload: 200, Service: active and 4DSKY service (monitored, never modified). The app shows AirSquitter is sharing by itself.
Each installer is made for your sensor only and replaces the one before it, so always pick the newest file. Don't share it.
The add-on never changes your 4DSKY setup. To remove it: apt remove skywarden-feeder, or uninstall skywarden-feeder on the same Maintenance page. Questions: jason@businessrx.ai.
